The Foothill-De Anza Foundation provides the margin of excellence for Foothill and De Anza colleges by seeking and sustaining philanthropic support. Both Foothill and De Anza are among the top-rated community colleges in the nation, but also among the lowest funded. Individual, foundation, and corporate investments offer the promise of stable resources, helping to fill the state funding gaps that grow greater each year.
Foothill-De Anza Foundation supporters contribute to the programs and facilities that make the colleges distinctive. The Foundation welcomes gifts of cash, securities, and property, and gifts may be pledged over time. The Foundation is also the grateful beneficiary of deferred giving, with bequests among the colleges' most transformational gifts.
Endowment gifts are the ultimate source of sustainable funding, ensuring permanent support for students, faculty, and programs. Gifts to new and existing endowments are invested, and earnings each year are used to fund named scholarshiips and programs in perpetuity.
Each college has a number of priorities that require private support, and we look forward to an opportunity to discuss your interests and how you can play a role in the colleges’ success. Without private support, many of the programs that set our colleges apart and change our students’ lives would not be possible.
